since I am here, let me take an minute to discuss cable news.
i watched a "fair and balanced" newscast today. the broadcast included:
- a story about thieves desecrating a war memorial
- whether or not the new christina aguilara video was too sexy
- how the president wants to keep us dumb (by limiting access to technology)
- whether or not the miss usa pagent should include racy lingere pictures
nothing sells advertisements like patriotism, fear and sex.
stay classy cable news.

while watching some fairly unbalanced news, i was surprised to see that heidi montag's plastic surgery adiction and her quest for size QQ breasts trumped the oil spill. i was also surprised to hear that the law passed in Arizona allows random stops of vehicles and "papers" can be demanded by law enforcement of anyone who does not appear to be a bonafide US citizen. shocking, since nowhere in the law is that stated or implied. cable news SUCKS. i'm sure the ads were divine.
